Meet the Team

  • David Glynn

    FOUNDER / CEO

    As President, David is a practicing attorney and sports agent with 25+ years’ experience in contract creation and negotiation – having successfully negotiated in excess of $500 million in contracts for his clients. As President of Perpetual, he is responsible for player recruitment and service, as well as management of the business. After graduating from the University of Kansas, David attended Creighton University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1995. David began his involvement in athlete representation in 1995, as an associate attorney at a law firm that represented NFL players. In the spring of 1997, David took his legal knowledge and player representation experience and launched Glynn Sports Management (now Perpetual Sports).

  • Darryl Woods

    VP - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    A recognized sports professional with over 20 years of experience in recruiting acclaimed NBA talent, Darryl has a proven track record in negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts for athletes in the U.S, Europe, and Asia. From pre-draft training, brand development, marketing & promotions, and relationships with top-tier entertainment, technology, and sports companies, his clients benefit and thrive from solid strategy, focused goal-setting, and critical execution beyond the field of play. Darryl served as President of Basketball Operations at YoungMoney APAA Sports & Entertainment in Dallas, TX., where his experience, client relationships, decision-making, crisis management, and business development acumen have shored the firm’s position as an industry leader. Previously, he served as Director of Basketball Operations at Chicago’s Naiditch Entertainment and rose through the ranks as recruiter associate at ASM Sports in Tenafly, NJ. He began his career at Priority Sports & Entertainment in his hometown of Chicago. Darryl Woods holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Early Childhood Education from Chicago State/University of Chicago Consortium. He is active in such community programs as Game of Life Sports Mentoring. He and his family currently reside in his native Chicago.

  • Navarro Thompson

    DIRECTOR OF WOMENS BASKETBALL

    A certified player-agent in both the Men and Women markets, Navarro is involved in all aspects of client representation, including recruiting, player evaluation, player skill development, and contract negotiations. Navarro has had unparalleled success placing both male and female players with teams in the NBA, NBA G League, WNBA, and various leagues in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and other parts of the globe. His “hands-on” proactive approach to representation ensures the highest degree of professional attention and personal service. Navarro also works individually as a basketball skills trainer, training youth and professional players. Navarro graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and was a 4-year letterman on the basketball team.

  • Mitchell Butler

    PRESIDENT OF BASKETBALL

    Mitchell is a former 4 year letter winner in basketball from UCLA who went on to play 11 years of professional basketball, 8 of which were in the NBA with the Washington Bullets/Wizards, Portland Trailblazers, and Cleveland Cavaliers. He spent one year as an assistant coach with the Washington Wizards helping them to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 30 years, while also working in the management as Director of Player Development. Mitchell has been a NBPA certified agent for the past 17 years and has managed some of the games elite players (Dwight Howard, Jrue Holiday, Avery Bradley, Earl Watson…) He has also negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars in player contracts and marketing deals on their behalf. He’s the only Agent who has played, coached, and managed in the NBA. Mitchell served on two Board of Directors with the Oakwood School and College Access Partnerships. Mitchell currently resides in Hawthorne. He has two daughters Dr. Brittany Butler and future M, Dr.Tae-Leon Butler.

  • Ronnie Coleman

    VP - BASKETBALL

    Ronnie is an inspired and dedicated Sports Agent. He is very passionate about meeting the needs of each client and their families and guiding them through their Professional Career experience. With great enthusiasm, passion and a profound belief in his ability to match each player’s skill-level with the NBA game, Ronnie promises dedication, open and honest communication, and absolute complete trust while guiding each client. When not assisting his current clients, Ronnie is staying abreast of my education with constant contact with the NBA Players Association about new rule changes or he’s in some one’s training facility learning new training skills to help support his clients. Ronnie have been an agent for nearly 15 years and was fortunate enough to be trained by 2 of the best Agents in the business, Sam Goldfelder and Sean Kennedy. He’s been around the game his entire life from playing at different levels to Coaching the all Air Force Basketball team, High School and College level. A 22 year Air Force Veteran Ronnie has enjoyed winning Championships at all levels including 2 All Air Force Championships 2 State high school championships, and winning a National Championship at the University of Kansas. In addition to being and enthusiastic realtor, Ronnie is active in various projects and organizations. He’s the Director of the Mario V Chalmers Foundation which includes Mario’s Closest, a boutique housed at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence Kansas for both men and women fighting cancer. He is also a certified College Coach. In his spare time he likes working on his hobby of playing golf.
